Repair Procedure
Side Panel

1 Begin by following these procedures:
Fan Removal
Rear Cover Removal
Control Panel
Base Removal

2 To remove the Left Side Panel (the left side when facing the front of the machine) there are two screws hidden behind the two rubber plugs as indicated in this picture that must be removed. Use a suitable tool and pry the plugs out. The backside of the plugs are coated with a sticky substance that keeps them in place. Put them aside in a clean environment so as not to pollute the adhesive.

3 Remove the two screws behind the plugs and the side panel can be pulled away from the machine.

4 To remove the right-hand Side Panel (the right side when facing the front of the machine) there is one screw hidden behind the a rubber plug, its location is indicated in this picture. Use a suitable tool and pry the plug out. The backside of the plug is coated with a sticky substance that keeps it in place. Put it aside in a clean environment so as not to pollute the adhesive.

The second screw holding the right-hand Side Panel was concealed behind the control panel, it's location shown here.

5 When replacing the Side Panels, be sure to engage the the tabs indicated here (left Side Panel shown. The right Side Panel has similar tabs).

6 REASSEMBLY
Replace the screws in the following steps, but do not fully tighten.
a - Verify that the tabs on the Cooling Tray Base are properly engaged.
b - Replace the Base and verify that the various mounting tabs of the Side Panels are properly engaged with the base and metal framework.
c - Replace the Rear Cover.
d - Verify that all panels have been properly aligned, then tighten the various screws while holding the parts in alignment.

      Complete the process by reassembling:
Control Panel
Replace Fan
Reinstall the rubber plugs.
