1 Begin by following these procedures:
Remove Fan
Remove Rear cover
Remove the Base

2 The Agitation Arm Motor is located on the base of the machine. After the base has been removed, pull off the spindle adaptor from the Agitation Arm Motor.

3 On the main circuit board, remove the two wires indicated here

4

These wires run under the main circuit board (take mental note of their routing). They are clipped into the molded-in retainer as shown here. Remove the wires from the retainer by pulling upwards on them near the retainer itself.

5 Remove the two Phillips head screws holding the motor to the base, and remove the motor, carefully pulling the wires out from under the main circuit board.

6 Assembly is the reverse order. Be sure to carefully route the wires back under the main circuit board. Fasten the motor in place with the two screws and clip the wires back into the molded retainer as before. Replace the spindle adapter.

To complete the repair you must and reassemble the machine:
Replace the Base
Replace the Rear Cover
Replace the Fan
