One Year Parts and Labor
Limited Warranty

HOTTOP Americas Coffee Roaster Limited Warranty
One year Parts and Labor to the Original Purchaser
Non-transferable
Hottop Americas Warrants their coffee roasters (called "roasters" for the purpose of this document) in the United States and Canada to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year (12 months) from date of purchase to the original purchaser, when a new roaster is purchased from an authorized Hottop Dealer. This warranty is non-transferable. This warranty is for non-commercial, home use only. Commercial use voids warranty. No other warranty nor guarantee, whether implied, stated, or in written form, whether from Hottop Americas nor any other source, shall be honored by Hottop Americas.

    This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage from accidents, misuse, abuse, or neglect
  • Roasters which have been modified
  • Roasters with parts other than those authorized by Hottop Americas.
  • Roasters used, exported to, or sold outside of the United States and Canada
  • Acts of Nature (fire, flood, lightning, insect or animal damage, etc.)
  • Damage caused directly or indirectly by user maintenance, user repair, or misuse
  • Damage from ignition of beans or ignition of coffee debris such as chaff and coffee oils caused by the user and not a fault of the roasting appliance (as determined by Hottop Americas). *1
  • Damage caused directly or indirectly from lack of maintenance
  • Cosmetic damage or wear not affecting operation
  • "Wear and tear"
  • Use of the roaster for other than that which is specifically stated in the owners manual
  • Damage caused by improper storage
  • Consumable parts (such as replaceable filters) are not covered.
  • Incidental or consequential losses or damages arising from the use or inability to use our product. Some Jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation for incidental or consequential damages so this specific disclaimer may not apply to those particular Jurisdictions. If your jurisdiction does not allow this exclusion or any other portion of this warranty, all other portions of this warranty will remain in effect.

*1 - FIRE DAMAGE - We reserve the right to examine a roaster that has been damaged by a roasting fire to determine whether the fire was caused by a mechanical or electrical failure or if the fire was caused by user negligence. If we determine that the fire was caused be negligence of the operator, warranty coverage will be denied and repairs will be done at your expense upon your approval.

To receive warranty service:
You must first contact Hottop Americas at hottop@hottopamericas.com for evaluation of the problem. We will try to work with you to diagnose the problem and offer possible solutions as we deem appropriate. If we cannot solve the problem in that way we may authorize you to return the unit to us for our evaluation as to whether it is a problem covered by our warranty and whether it qualifies for possible servicing and repair under that warranty. Returns not pre-approved will not be accepted and will be returned to sender with return shipping to be paid by the sender. Our sole responsibility under this warranty will be to repair or replace, at our sole discretion, roasters requiring service and qualifying for same under the terms of this warranty.
Roasters sent to us which are found to not be covered under this warranty for any reason (ie. problem(s) caused by any of the above listed "does not cover" items, or a roaster that is shown to be working properly and not needing service within the terms of this warranty) will be returned to the sender. In those cases, return-postage to be paid by you before the roaster is returned.
After approval by you, repairs which are not covered under the warranty and are subsequently completed by Hottop Americas at your request shall have parts and labor costs paid by you before the roaster is returned to you.
Proof of purchase must be presented for any warranty service. You must include a copy of your purchase receipt with all warranty returns. The receipt must identify you as the purchaser as well as the seller's identity. Warranty is valid only in the United States and Canada when a new roaster is purchased by you from one of our approved agents/resellers. You must be the original owner to obtain warranty service.
Safe shipping to Hottop for warranty servicing is your responsibility. When returning a roaster we highly recommend using the original packaging. Shipping damage or shipping loss for roasters sent to us is not covered by the Hottop Americas warranty.
At our discretion we may offer the replacement parts under this warranty to be installed by the owner. We may also require that suspected faulty parts be returned to Hottop Americas for testing and evaluation before replacement parts are sent. Damage caused to the part(s) supplied and/or damage to the roaster by improper installation of these parts is not covered by this warranty. Parts replaced under warranty, whether the labor is done by you or by Hottop Americas service, will be covered under the original one year warranty as described above, and any warranty on said replaced parts will expire at the end of the roaster's original-purchase, one-year term. Parts purchased by you are warranted by the same one-year (12 month) limited warranty that covers our roasters as described above and is non-transferable.
This warranty is subject to change without notice. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
