To replace the Roasting Drum, reverse the above procedure:
  • When insertig the drum, verify that the drive pin is in place and that it fully engages the drive coupling inside the roaster. The drum should nearly touch the roast chamber's rear wall when the drum is fully inserted.
The pin should protrude from both sides of the shaft. It it does not (as seen in the video) re-center it and either bend it slightly to hold it in place, or carefully peen the shaft to hold the pin in place.
  • When installing the Bearing Plate, and before tightening the four screws, be sure that the plate is properly aligned with the two locating pins and that the drum's center shaft is properly located in the dimple which acts as the front support for the drum's shaft.
    DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN THE SCREWS!
