How to Replace the Chaff tray Switch

To replace the Chaff tray Switch, reverse the above procedure:
  • Be sure both connectors are firmly attached to the spade terminals. Crimp the female connectors as necessary.
  • Verify that the insulators on the spade clips are in place.
  • Connect an Ohm meter to the other end of the switch's wires and slide the chaff tray in and out a few times to verify that the switch is operating properly. Bend the arm of the switch slightly using a pair of pliers if necessary.
